Flow of any stream Meredith occurs as human-synthetic lake formed by a dam on the Canadian River at Sanford, Texas. These are placed astir Thirty miles northeast of Amarillo, Texas in the Texas Panhandle. These are the major source of drinking water for Amarillo and Lubbock, Texas, located about 150 miles around the south along by using numbers of more towns in between & nearby. Within 2003, the Canadian River Municipal Water Authority announced that it would reduce allocations to its member cities due to an ongoing drought and a continued drop by the water system level in the reservoir.
